O’Mama and I found ourselves in the local Big Box Book Store this afternoon and discovered that they were completely sold out of the Othello version of No Fear Shakespeare.
Guess what our students are supposed to be reading for this week?
Coincidence? I think not.

I love No Fear Shakespeare! It’s been a wonderful tool in class for ESL students who have a difficult enough time translating modern English much less Early Modern English!
Do you find that you have to make sure the students are using it as a tool rather than as a crutch? I really want them to read Shakespeare’s language because something is lost in reading just a translation.
